Built for Performance. Designed for Sustainability.
At SYNLawn, sustainability isn’t an add-on – it’s built into everything we do.
Manufactured in Australia by APT Asia Pacific, part of Sport Group, SYNLawn products are designed with a clear purpose: to deliver high-performance artificial grass solutions while reducing environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle.
From responsible material selection and advanced manufacturing to recycling and end-of-life solutions, we are committed to creating surfaces that support people, communities and the planet.
Our Global Commitment to Sustainability
Our approach focuses on:
R&D
Carbon emissions
Renewable Energy
As part of this, every SYNLawn solution is developed with sustainability, performance and long-term responsibility in mind.
Green Technology
SYNLawn’s Green Technology initiative combines advanced material science with eco-conscious design principles to deliver more sustainable turf solutions.
At its core is eco design thinking – meaning sustainability is considered from the very beginning of the product lifecycle:
- Increased use of bio-based and recycled materials
- Focus on durability and longevity to reduce replacement
- Design for end-of-life recyclability
- Continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency and waste reduction
This ensures SYNLawn products deliver long-term performance with reduced environmental impact.
COOLplus® Technology
SYNLawn’s COOLplus® technology is designed to improve comfort and usability in hot climates. It works by helping to reduce heat build-up in direct sunlight, making surfaces more comfortable for families, pets and play areas. At the same time, it creates a matte, low-glare finish for a more natural look, while supporting better usability and performance throughout the year.
End-of-Life Turf Recycling
As the founding partner of RE4ORM™ Recycling, Sport Group Asia Pacific is leading the development of Australia’s first dedicated turf recycling facility in Barnawartha, Victoria.
SYNLawn proudly supports this initiative, which is designed to process end-of-life artificial turf systems, separating and repurposing materials to reduce landfill and advance a circular economy.
