Project Overview
Nestled within the natural landscape of Flagstaff Hill, this unique golf destination showcases how SYNLawn synthetic turf systems can be used to create highly realistic, low-maintenance golf environments that blend seamlessly with their surroundings.
Designed by Himalayas Golf and installed by GameOn Turf, the 3,252m² facility was carefully shaped to follow the site’s existing contours, creating a challenging and visually striking course featuring undulating greens, strategic bunkers and thoughtfully designed hole layouts inspired by traditional golf course architecture.
The project features SYNLawn Olympia COOLplus, SYNLawn TeeStrike, and ProBaller White, exclusive to GameON, alongside SYNLawn Comfort Elite 50 — a premium 50mm landscaping turf with multi-toned fibres, textured thatch and exclusive COOLplus™ technology, delivering a natural appearance with a soft, durable and cooler underfoot surface.
Adding to the course’s distinctive appeal are Australia’s first circular wedge target greens, inspired by the training methods of renowned golf coach Dave Pelz. The completed project demonstrates how SYNLawn golf turf systems can create innovative golf experiences that combine performance, aesthetics and long-term durability with minimal maintenance requirements.
